Bremca Site Services
Our Site Services team with their thorough understanding of switchboard design, components, and construction, are highly skilled in all facets of on-site low voltage distribution and control systems, offering a comprehensive range of onsite solutions and engineering support.
Working in conjunction with maintenance electricians, electrical contractors or directly with owners and their consultants, our dedicated field services team backed by Bremca’s considerable resource and expertise are able to provide a wide range of services to all commercial, industrial, and critical installations.
With a strong focus on health and safety, all our field-based staff are experienced Registered Electricians, Site Safe accredited and are governed by Bremca’s stringent site-specific safety procedures and processes developed over many years from being immersed in a high-risk industry.
Engineering
Bremca’s site service and engineering team can provide consultation to plant owners, building managers, and electrical contractors in all areas of low voltage switchboard design and onsite modification proposals.
We can often create a solution whereby an existing board can be modified or extended to suit rather than being replaced, minimising down time and overall project costs.
Not limited to just switchboards, Bremca in conjunction with our Bremca automation engineers can also undertake full design, integration and delivery of any control and monitoring system required.
Scheduled Maintenance & Extended Warranties
For new sites with Bremca switchboards installed we are able to offer extended warranties of up to 10 years when Bremca is engaged as part of an ongoing scheduled maintenance plan, this goes well beyond the industry standard 12-month ex-factory warranty.
Maintenance plans and warranty periods can be tailored to suit and is part of our ongoing commitment to whole of life support for our switchboards and systems.
PowerCAD
Bremca as a licenced PowerCAD user can undertake an LV engineering assessment of your new distribution design or existing low voltage protection line on site.
Our detailed studies are also able to identify potential risks such as arc flash incident energy, insufficient component fault (kA) ratings, incorrectly sized cabling, and other potential switchgear protection issues.
A complete PowerCAD study, ensures optimal circuit breaker settings can be applied for selectivity and a safe fault free LV distribution system can be achieved
Switchboard Temperature Monitoring
For critical installations Bremca can offer a switchboard temperature monitoring solution. Our wireless temperature sensors are installed at critical points within a switchboard to monitor components, busbars, connections, and the ambient temperature of the assemblies.
This permanent system can be used as a preventative warning system, continuously trending the temperature data of the switchboard, so any detected temperature rise can be programmed to produce alarms, allowing for any emerging issue to be investigated and resolved prior to damage occurring.
A far more accurate and comprehensive monitoring solution to the traditional infrequent thermal imaging surveys.
