We have been trusted experts in the industry since our establishment in 1972 and continue to develop and innovate the solutions we offer to the market.

Our engineering and manufacturing have taken us from New Zealand to multiple locations across the world.

We frequently work with electrical engineers and contractors to design, and engineer customised and cost-effective solutions to meet the needs of their specific projects and provide a trusted level of professional expertise.

  • Our offerings to the market include:
  • MSB’s – Main Switchboards
  • DB’s – Distribution Boards
  • MSSB’s – Mechanical Services Switchboards
  • MCC’s – Motor Control Centres
  • Pump Station Control Panels
  • Power Factor Correction
  • Control Consoles
  • Fire Suppression and Real-Time Thermal Diagnostic Monitoring
  • EV – Electric Vehicle Charging Switchboards and Pillars

We work with the worlds most recognised switchgear manufacturers, such as Eaton, ABB, Schneider, and many others, ensuring only the best componentry goes into our engineered switchboards, safeguarding product reliability, excellent life expectancy, and reduced servicing and maintenance costs.

The 250 Series switchboard enclosure system has been the mainstay of our switchboard manufacturing for over 25 years. Its modularity ensures flexibility to suit the engineering specification of our customers design requirements. Now fully tested to the new AS/NZS 61439 standard and fully seismic rated.

Axiom is our latest generation switchboard solution, providing maximum protection for people and equipment. The higher the level of the technology used (fixed, removable, or withdrawable), the more convenient it will be to maintain and replace the switchgear modules. This will not only minimize safety concerns, but it will also provide reassurance and peace of mind as you know you are using safety-tested and state-of-the-art design-verified switchgear assemblies in conformity with the new AS/NZS 61439 standard and fully seismic compliant.

Industrial Switchboards

Our low voltage industrial switchboards are used across a wide range of industries and needs, including water treatment, airport baggage handling systems, dairy, and meat and animal processing, timber, mining, oil and gas, and the list goes on.

We work with Eaton and have strong representation with ABB, Schneider, and many others, ensuring the optimum solution for our clients. We use the best switchgear for the solution, which provides our valued clients with peace of mind regarding product reliability, life expectancy, and servicing costs.

Commercial Switchboards

Our low voltage commercial switchboards are used throughout all parts of the commercial market including high rise, office, apartment, retail, hotel, hospitality, shopping centres, hospitals, medical centres, data centres and many more.

We frequently work with electrical contractors to design, and engineer customised and cost-effective solutions to meet the needs of their specific projects and provide a trusted level of professional expertise. In creating low voltage commercial switchboards, we often utilise Eaton, ABB, and Schneider componentry, amongst others to build the perfect solution.

Motor Control Centres (MCC's)

BREMCA manufactures Motor Control Centres (MCC’s), utilising its in house designed Axiom and Eaton XEnergy, both compliant 61439 solutions.

Ranging up to 5000A, MCC’s are manufactured to specific customer requirements, and can include fixed, demountable, and fully withdrawable options.

Both these systems have full seismic certification, meeting the demands of IL4 buildings in a post-earthquake environment.

MCCs are manufactured from enclosure systems specifically designed and tested for their compliance with AS/NZS 61439.

In situations where outdoor MCCs are required we can manufacture custom solutions using our in-house 3D design and sheetmetal fabrication capabilities.

Pump Stations

Bremca for many years has had a significant involvement in pumping applications. Whether it be a Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) or a Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Bremca has been at the forefront of their design, engineering and commissioning, covering the electrical, control, automation, telemetry, SCADA and commissioning. We also assist with specialised maintenance and service support.

We have also undertaken numerous specialist pumping application projects across a broad spectrum of industries.

Prefabricated and Containerised Switchrooms

Integrated switchrooms provide increased flexibility in design, improved lead-times, and faster commissioning on site, particularly for industrial and utility companies. The integration of generators, transformers, low voltage (LV), and medium voltage (MV) switchgear can all be accommodated.

Whether it is fitting existing portable buildings or ISO containers, or custom building a metal fabricated building from scratch, our engineers can develop a design to meet all the requirements of the customer. Customised solutions, air conditioning, fire suppression, security, and environmental requirements can all be provided. Importantly for the customer, this can all be modelled in 3D so the customer can be sure of the perfect solution before the job commences.

Power Quality

Improve your power quality and you’ll save money and look after your network.

BREMCA offers a complete power factor measurement and analysis service and will undertake on-site measurement for you. Our engineers have many years of experience in designing and manufacturing compensating equipment of every type for low-voltage and medium voltage networks.

It’s simple. Power quality = $$. Poor power quality can cost your business money every month in penalties from your power company.

Power Control and Monitoring Systems are rapidly gaining favour with both building owners as well as building managers and tenants.

We can help you improve your power quality, save money on power, and extend the life of your machinery with our power factor measurement and analysis solutions.
